Yazmin Islas is a registered nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing and a background in nursing leadership and care coordination. Her work supporting patients and families has shaped her commitment to clear communication, thoughtful planning, and care that respects each person’s needs.
As a nurse, mother, and entrepreneur, Yazmin understands the responsibility families carry when choosing support for someone they love. She co-founded Y & Y Compassionate Care to help individuals maintain their dignity and independence while giving families a caring partner they can turn to.
Yaroslava Markov, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Co-Founder
Yaroslava Markov is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing. Her nursing background informs her approach to understanding the whole person—their daily needs, preferences, relationships, and goals.
As a mother and entrepreneur, Yaroslava values the trust and personal connection at the heart of caregiving. She co-founded Y & Y Compassionate Care with a commitment to compassionate, individualized support that helps people feel respected, comfortable, and connected at home.
